Great food and coffee! Always good value fit money and lots of great specials and so nice!!
Delicious kobie sandwich wow!! The people were very kind and attentive and I’m telling you the food rivaled any steak sandwich anywhere (and I grew up near Philadelphia)
This place is great it is a small place but it is understandable. The food looked gerat I had the double cheeseburger and it took me back to my childhood when burgers tasted like burgers. The staff were friendly, inviting, and patient.
Where are people supposed to park? UC Davis? I've tried to eat here three times. No luck! Edit on November 4, 2025: I finally got to try this place. My sister and I drove around the blocks a few times before we found a place to park. There were two people working. Presumably a couple. When the man stepped out for a bit, she was the only one to take orders and cook. So it took some time. The food was great, but not really hot. We both enjoyed our orders, but neither were hot. Just warm. So I can only assume our Chinese food was pre-made. I had a glass noodle with beef plate that came with four pot stickers. They were crispy and super tasty. So was the dipping sauce. My sister ordered the orange chicken plate. It had tender, breaded chicken that was neatly sliced, with a sweet orange glaze poured on top. Each of our meals came with a side of white rice. I commented to my sister that I appreciated the recognizable chicken. Unlike the usual, glazed, odd meat chunks in orange "chicken". It is a good hole-in-the-wall eatery, I just wish our food arrived hot. We spent about $15 a piece. No drinks. Just a cup of water.
Adorable, delicious, overall great vibes. Very filling food and a great coffee selection. If you ever have to wait for anyone from the hospital (hopefully not) but this is a great place to wait it out. Very friendly staff.
Family owed business. I love how they make you feel welcomed. I ordered the kobi beef sandwich and it was amazing.
I was walking by at 10 am on a summer in July all of a sudden I inhaled a wonderful aroma turned my head. It happened to be a nurse patron and I told him that smelled like heaven. He replied “taste like it too!” I was treated generosity and kindness! Food was everything to be expected all these years I wish I’d given them my business will be back!
Tried this place while visiting the UCD campus. Great food, my only complaint was a little to much mayo for my liking but the serving size and quality was great. Overall the experience was great. The nice lady at the front makes the business feel warm and welcoming. Please support local businesses like this.
